GEORGIOS PAPADOPOULOS is an Architect and Scenographer. He graduated from the London University's Bartlet School of Architecture with First Degree Honours. He obtained the Diploma in Architecture and became a member of RIBA, ARCUK and ETEK. He studied under such Architects and teachers as James Stirling, James Gowan, and Phylip Tabor.
In 1992 he formed the company SKINOTECHNIKI, to provide his clients with a complete package that includes design and construction of sets for the stage television and film, exhibition stands, museums, and architecture.
He designed for stages and tv channels around the world such us the Alberta Ballet Company-Canada, Ballet Austin-USA, THOK (The Cyprus National Theatre), ITI (International Theatre Institute), Bloomsbury Theatre - London, Vergina Theatre -Thessaloniki, EBU (European Broadcasting Union), UNICEF, PIK-Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, Sigma TV-Cyprus.
 
His comprehensive exhibition, "Evoenos Nisos" on the history of wine making in Cyprus took part in the celebrations for Patra-Cultural Capital of Europe 2006.
In 1996 he was a price winner of Architectural competition for the rehabilitation of the RIALTO cinema in Limassol, Cyprus.
In 2007 he was awarded the state price for scenography for his work in the short film "Farmakon" by Ioakim Mylonas.
In 2008 he was elected as the production/set designer for the Junior Eurovision 2008. EBU described the set as impressive. Co-producer UNICEF described the show as "the best ever.
In 2010 George Papadopoulos was nominated for the prestigious International Live Design Excellence Award http://livedesignonline.com/excellenceawards/junior-eurovision-song-contest/ . The only other nominee was Barack Obaba's Grant Park Election Night Rally.
For the Junior Eurovision 2008 he was also the technical coordinator working with the BBC outside broadcast, Procon Event Engineering, (Now renamed PRG) http://de.prg.com/en/2738,TV.html Digame and Spidercam Professional Motion Technology.
In 2010 his "Lemesos House" was short listed for an International award at the World Architecture Festival 2010" in Barcelona Spain.
Over the last few years his work was published in several magazines and books in the UK, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Saudi Arabia and China..
